Nuevo Vallarta is a planned residential-resort community located in Mexico in the state of Nayarit. It is located about fifteen minutes north of the Licenciado Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport in Puerto Vallarta by car. Nuevo Vallarta receives many tourists from both the United States and Canada. Nuevo Vallarta has many shopping centers and stores that accept payments in Mexican pesos or US dollars.
The project was initiated by the federal government more than ten years ago and houses luxury villas and properties with tropical gardens that line the canals, each with its own private docking pier.
